As a writer, I’ve always gravitated towards non-fiction and reflective pieces. These genres have been my comfort zone, providing a platform to express my thoughts, share experiences, and connect with readers on a deeply personal level. However, as an avid reader of fiction, I’ve often found myself captivated by the idea of creating my own fictional worlds, characters, and narratives. The thought of writing fiction has lingered in my mind, urging me to step out of my comfort zone and explore new creative territories.

I believe it is crucial for artists to disrupt the flow of their regular work. This disruption forces us to think differently, to stretch our creative muscles in new directions, and to discover new facets of our artistry. So, I decided to take the plunge into fiction writing. Here is something I am working on.

Rachel’s Enchanted Library

Rachel had always loved working at the library. There was something magical about being surrounded by stories, knowledge, and the quiet hum of people seeking answers. One evening, as she was organizing the shelves, she noticed something peculiar. A book seemed to shimmer, its edges glowing faintly. Intrigued, she pulled it off the shelf and opened it.
